Các mô-đun Series CC I/O là một dạng mở rộng của các thiết bị giao diện tín hiệu đầu vào/đầu ra chức năng cơ bản và đặc biệt. Mô đun hỗ trợ cấu hình phần mềm cục bộ.Các mô đun I/O này có cùng hệ số bộ điều khiển C300 và nằm trên cùng một loại hệ thống gắn kết chung như các mô đun thuộc Series CC khác.

• Hệ thống dây trường được bảo vệ bằng mạch bảo vệ bên trong.

• Cho phép nguồn cảm biến DI bên trong hoặc bên ngoài (có thể lựa chọn bằng cách sử dụng khối jumper TB3)

• Cho phép bảo vệ ngắn mạch đầu vào cho các trường hợp ngắn mạch.

• Cho phép rút ngắn từng tín hiệu tại hiện trường mà không làm hỏng mô-đun hoặc bo mạch. Các kênh khác trên cùng IOM không bị ảnh hưởng.

• Dòng ổ đĩa trường bị hạn chế, cho phép ngắt mạch đầu vào.
